YAPPERS

Avery's got me rethinking the importance I assign to celebrities vis á vis their big mouths. Which is good, considering I can't go to a movie or listen to music these days without encountering someone I wish had just kept his/her yapper shut. I guess I should just give up and enjoy the entertainment, but boy do I hate putting money in idiots' pockets.

Your a teacher right?

Yeah, I teach grammar, which is ironic considering the blatant grammar mistake in your comment.

Ironic? No, I don't think so. However, nitpicking a post for a missing comma, while the President of the United States can't speak a complete sentence, that's irony.

But, don't worry. You aren't the first and you aren't alone -- we got term for people like you on this here internet thing: Grammar Troll.

As much as I wish I could encourage you to shut your yap by withholding my hard earned dollars, I don't think it will happen. Something makes me think that, as an American taxpayer, I probably helping to pay your salary. Unfortunately, there is little I can do to stop that.

curveball,

If you don't like Sarah's blog don't read it. Nobody's forcing you to. And as for tax dollars, my tax dollars probably help pay for something that you benefit from, unless none of the federal government's actions affect you, and obviously I can't do anything about it either.

Yes, curveball, no one is forcing you to be here. And I work for a university, so you most likely aren't paying my salary. So why don't you move along and bother someone else.

P.S. It wasn't the missing comma, though that is also an error. It was using "your" instead of "you're".

Sarah,

The idea that people can freely do anything (but evil, of course) is alien to the Left. For them, force is a given, and the only debate is how to use it. The thought of freedom scares them, so instead of choice, they speak of "manufactured consent." curveball isn't here because of free will but because of some impulse implanted by FOX News. Responsibility is an illusion. We're all robots, and whoever programs us wins. Beep beep.
