I've been a lurker at Stereo Describes My Scenario for several weeks now, always admiring Avery's wit and smarts, but this post is really something: Oooh! A Battle. I'd share sammiches and Kool-Aid with Avery anytime, especially if we'd get to talk about Rocky.

Posted by: Sarah at August 4, 2004 07:07 PMOh, c'mon Sarah. You know we're all dying to know what insightful comment dc has for us today! It ruins my whole day not being able to hear from The Wise One. Hee.Hee.
And by the way, I enjoyed the link.

Regardless, whenever talented people like Bruce Springsteen get twenty other talented people to campaign against Bush by using their musical abilities it gives patriots who love music goose bumps.
I really loved for example how Ray Charles version of America the Beautiful became part of the Democratic National Convention. Although Ray Charles has recently died his redition of that song will always be among the best music America has to offer.
